Anita Fernandez Eromhonsele is a seasoned Program Consultant with over eight years of impactful experience in the NGO sector. Her expertise spans adolescent health, maternal and child health, orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs), sexual and gender minorities (SGM), sexual and reproductive health (SRH), HIV/AIDS, and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV).
Anita holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Master’s degree in Public Health, equipping her with a strong foundation to drive innovative solutions in public health. Her career highlights include developing training manuals that empower marginalized women, particularly lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (LBT) individuals in Nigeria, and serving as a master trainer on stigma and HIV testing services among healthcare providers.
In addition to her extensive programmatic work, Anita has played a pivotal role in shaping policy by contributing to the development of several key policy documents. Her dedication to addressing the needs of sexual and gender minorities aligns with her commitment to creating equitable and inclusive communities.
As a board member, Anita brings her deep expertise, strategic vision, and passion for advocacy to advance the mission of promoting rights, health, and well-being within the SGM community.
